natural ingredients which can fix your dry and brittle strands

Cannot go out to either have a haircut or a hair spa? Well, a lot of people out there might be having a hard time managing their hair while being in the lockdown. Due to the absence of your regular trim or your monthly hair spa, your hair might be getting dry and brittle.

Here are a few ingredients, which you can find in your kitchen and use them to treat your dull and rough locks:

Olive oil

In order to lock back moisture in your hair, use olive oil to massage your hair. Take ¼ cup olive oil and part your hair, section by section. Don’t warm the oil and gently rub the oil on your scalp and go down to the ends as well. Wrap your hair in a shower cap and leave it for one hour. Now shampoo your hair with lukewarm water and pat dry your hair. Bid goodbye to brittle and dull hair by using this trick on a weekly basis.

Apple cider vinegar

A quick fix for dull and lifeless hair is the apple cider vinegar mask. Just teaspoon apple cider vinegar with two tablespoons olive oil and two egg whites. Whisk it all together and massage your hair with it. Pull up your hair and make them into a bun. Wear a plastic wrap or a shower cap and leave your hair untouched for about two hours. After that shampoo your hair and rinse them off with water. You will get shinier hair in just a single wash.

Did you know that your regular tea can also help you in getting shiny locks? Just brew your tea naturally and don’t add sugar and milk. Once it is boiled, strain the tea using a strainer. Let the tea cool down a bit and use it to give a final rinse to your hair, after washing them with shampoo. This will not only help in enhancing your hair color but will also keep lifeless hair at bay.

Loaded with protein, eggs are a wonderful product for your hair. Just mix one egg with a tablespoon of shampoo and apply it on your hair. Leave the mixture on your hair for about an hour and rinse it off with lukewarm water. This will not only make your hair shinier but will also fill up for your scalp’s protein deficiency.
